Role - Senior UX designer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities
- Customer is looking for a senior UX designer to assess their business critical 2 applications. The ask from UX resource would be to understand existing systems, conduct interviews with business stakeholders, identify pain area and provide a modified design and HTML wireframes.
- In the proposed design, self service and guided experience is the key focus.
- Overall Tech stack for both the systems is Python, SQL and frontend is React.
Brief JD
User Research and Analysis
- User Research: Proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and focus groups. Experienced designers should know how to gather and interpret user feedback.
- Persona Development: Ability to develop user personas based on research, creating detailed representations of target users to guide design decisions.
- Journey Mapping: Skill in mapping user journeys to understand user behavior, pain points, and areas of opportunity in the product or service experience.
Information Architecture (IA)
- Content Structuring: Knowledge of how to organize and structure information in a way that is intuitive and accessible to users.
- Sitemaps and Taxonomies: Ability to create sitemaps, navigation structures, and taxonomies that make information easy to find and understand.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Skilled in creating low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize layout, navigation, and interactions.
- Interaction Design
- User Flows: Experience in designing detailed user flows to ensure a seamless and efficient experience from one step to the next.
- Interaction Patterns: Familiarity with common interaction patterns and micro-interactions, ensuring that the design is intuitive and predictable for users.
- Prototyping Tools: Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision to create interactive prototypes that demonstrate the flow and functionality of a design.
- Visual Design
- UI Design: Expertise in designing user interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing, aligned with the brand, and optimized for usability.
- Typography, Color, and Layout: A strong grasp of design fundamentals such as typography, color theory, layout, and hierarchy to ensure a polished and professional appearance.
- Responsive Design: Ability to design for different screen sizes and devices, ensuring that the user experience is consistent across platforms (mobile, tablet, desktop).
Design Systems
- Experience in creating and maintaining design systems or working with existing ones (e.g., Material Design, Ant Design) to ensure consistency across a product.
Prototyping and Usability Testing
- Prototyping and Usability Testing
- Interactive Prototyping: Ability to create clickable, interactive prototypes that mimic the final product for user testing or stakeholder review.
- Usability Testing: Experience conducting usability tests to validate design decisions and gather feedback for iterative improvements.
Service Now - UI / UX Expert
- UI expert with ~2 years of experience in building AI Chatbots
- Skills - React, AI, CSS and Cross Browser
- AI Based conversant UI, Visualization (Guided flows using trained models).
