Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced teacher. The person must be able to relate with students in a friendly manner with the ability to receive constructive criticism.
Responsibilities
- Ability to plan and implement weekly/monthly curriculums
- Ability to observe, evaluate and monitor children’s educational progress
- Plan indoor/outdoor activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Ability to have effective-communicate with parents
- Ability to complete progress reports for the students
- Ability to write a weekly lesson plan
- Completes all administrative responsibilities accordingly
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in early childhood education
- Ability to work and follow DOH, DOE & ACS guidelines
- Knowledge of Teaching Strategies Gold
- The person must possess a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education
- NYS Teacher Certification/study plan is a must
Teacher's Aide (Full-Time)
Job description:
Lucille Rose Day Care Center is seeking compassionate and hardworking candidates for a part time (4 hrs.) Teacher's Aide position.
As a teacher's aide, you will have the flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who may be in school, looking to enter a childcare profession, or a retiree.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the teacher and children with daily activities
- Supporting language and vocabulary through conversations with children
- Flexible to the needs of the center
- Assist with clean-up
- If necessary, assist with diaper/ potty training
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Team oriented
- Excellent communication skills
