About the Role

As Associate, Standards and Practices, you will review advertisements and promotional content for compliance with Tubi's advertising standards and applicable laws and regulations, including weekend coverage (Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year). The Standards & Practices team works cross-functionally with Sales, Content Operations, and Legal to ensure adherence to policies and practices.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Standards and Practices.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and apply Tubi's Content Standards policies regarding sexual, violent, and controversial content; review and recommend content for further evaluation or removal from the service
  • Interpret and apply Tubi's advertising content policy to ads that run on the Tubi platform
  • Evaluate and substantiate marketing, scientific, and other data submitted by advertisers
  • Coordinate with Ad Sales, Ad Operations, Content and Content Operations to ensure proper socialization of ad restrictions and relevant information
  • Use internal tools to socialize findings and ensure policies are consistently implemented
  • Highlight policy issues that require further analysis
  • Assist in improving operational workstreams by identifying challenges and offering solutions, including improvements to existing guidelines
  • Stay updated on the latest streaming industry trends, including analyses of competing streamers’ advertising and content Standards and Practices policies
  • Provide administrative and coordinative support to the S&P team

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 1+ years Advertising / marketing experience
  • The work schedule is Wednesday-Sunday. Candidates must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
  • A willingness to review all types of content and apply Tubi and legal standards without regard to personal beliefs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various internal teams, colleagues, managers, producers and advertisers
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and exercise good judgment to elevate matters when needed
  • Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, G Suite, databases, and web browsing
  • Ability to read and understand Spanish is desirable, but not required
  • Self-starter, able to organize and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Compensation & Benefits

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is Base ($69,000 to $75,000 per year) plus Bonus, Long-Term Incentive Plan, and Benefits. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
