Overview

Our client, a global creative agency, is seeking a Creative Director (Art). This is a freelance position (40 hours a week) through December that is hybrid (3x/week) in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall creative vision for campaigns across multiple channels
• Oversee and mentor creative teams, including art directors, copywriters, and designers
• Collaborate with account and strategy teams to align creative work with client objectives
• Pitch and present concepts to clients with clarity and confidence
• Ensure high-quality, original, on-brand creative output
• Review and approve all creative deliverables before they go to clients
• Stay current with industry trends and inspire innovation within the team
• Manage timelines and resources for creative projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, graphic design, advertising, visual communications, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a creative role in an agency or creative environment
• Experience managing creative teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital (social, mobile, web) and 360 campaign work along with creative leadership
• Strong conceptual thinking with a keen sense of craft
• Expertise in branding, storytelling, and visual communication
• Proficiency with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to understand and discuss business & brand strategy
• Strategic thinking and client-facing experience
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and creatively progressive team
