Overview

Audio Visual Field Technician – Established Nationwide A/V Integrator seeking technical talent to turn concepts into reality and simplify our customers’ environments.

Position: Audio Visual Field Technician. Location: Southwest region, based out of Reno, NV. The technician will complete installations and service calls for our commercial customers, performing installation and troubleshooting of Video, Control, and Data systems to meet required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service calls for commercial customers in the southwest region
• Install and troubleshoot Video, Control, and Data systems to meet specifications
• Complete low voltage installations and cable runs (Video, CAT6, fiber optic) and route cabling through raceways or trays
• Rack fabrication and system commissioning under supervision of engineering staff
• Demonstrate computer and control understanding and skills
• Warehouse and stock house duties as required
• Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and professionalism in all tasks

Basic Employment Requirements

• Must have a valid Nevada Driver's License and transportation
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to pass a complete background check and random drug screenings
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs
• Good customer service skills, polite and professional
• Work 5-6 days, 8-12 hours when necessary

Trade Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates Degree in Technology is recommended, or relevant work experience
• CTS or CTS-I desirable
• OSHA 10 or 30 Card
• Scissor-lift Card – must be willing to take the class
