Overview

Join Macy’s as a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague. You’ll help create a warm, inviting experience in our fragrance department, maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space, and support the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. From preparing products and restocking displays to assisting with transactions, your attention to detail and hospitality ensure every guest feels cared for. This role blends service and support, anticipating team needs and helping to create magical moments during the busiest time of year. We’re looking for flexible team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple tasks, and can work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and stay informed on new arrivals, top sellers, trends, and promotions to engage, educate, and sell with confidence.
• Provide a warm, customer-focused experience on the floor, including eye contact and friendly conversations to build relationships.
• Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising, processing damages, handling testers and merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
• Conclude interactions by sharing loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and thanking them by name when possible.
• Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
• Strive for excellence as a team, aiming to meet sales goals and learn from each other to improve store results.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors; and to understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Comfortable collaborating with customers and colleagues; able to meet daily sales goals and enjoy meeting people.
• Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently yet as part of a team.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for extended periods, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment, including processing register transactions.
