Seasonal Ambassador

Seasonal Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, as well as providing exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. Seasonal Ambassadors cultivate strong team relationships and contribute to overall shop excellence in both sales and operations. On the shop floor, they consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment that keeps customers coming back for more.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Customer Experience: Drive sales using StoreForce dashboard results, seek feedback, and exceed sales goals. Take ownership of your results and actively grow the store’s overall sales contribution.
  • Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world-class customer experience. Connect with customers, listen actively, ask open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and seek opportunities to enhance the customer’s day.
  • Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging. Articulate these values in-store and through community engagement by hosting store initiatives that drive traffic.
  • Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge, stay up-to-date on ingredients and benefits, and confidently recommend products to meet customer needs.

Team Involvement

  • Development: Use Lush resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and increase sales. Seek feedback and opportunities to improve skills and performance.
  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, actively listen to diverse perspectives, foster belonging, and recognize each team member's contributions.

Operational Excellence

  • Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present. Participate in teamwork, take breaks as needed, and stay informed with company updates.
  • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Stock and Inventory: Follow Visual Merchandising guidelines and adjust product displays based on sales to improve the customer experience.
  • Policies and Procedures: Adhere to opening / closing routines, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models
  • Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Pay : $15.50 USD
