Overview
Creative Multimedia Specialist and Content Producer – 12 month full time salaried exempt institutional staff position
Loyola Academy seeks a mission-driven, creative professional to serve as Creative Multimedia Specialist and Content Producer. This position is an integral part of the Advancement Office, working to visually capture and amplify the life and culture of Loyola's Jesuit mission. Through strategic and compelling video storytelling, this role partners with admissions, advancement, alumni relations, and internal communications.
Reports to: Director of Communications and Content Management
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to plan a production calendar and ensure brand, mission, and voice alignment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Videography and Photography
- Plan, produce, film, and edit high-quality video content across departments, including Advancement, Admissions, Alumni Relations, Campus Ministry, Student Life, Arts, Athletics, and Academics
- Capture still photography on occasion for marketing and communications purposes, including events, portraits, and campus life
- Develop a digital asset library to organize footage for reuse across platforms and purposes
- Ensure all videography and photography content reflects the school’s mission, values, and visual identity
- Content Creation and Storytelling
- Capture Loyola’s story through student profiles, faculty features, classroom moments, legacy family spotlights, event recaps, and daily life footage to be shared on social media, the website, and during events
- Engage alumni by capturing and curating their stories for continued connection and support of Loyola’s mission
- Support enrollment through student and department profiles that highlight Loyola’s academic rigor, Jesuit values, and vibrant student life
- Create content for key campaigns and events (e.g., Ramble, President’s Dinner, Ramblers Rally Day), aligned with fundraising and strategic goals
- Contribute to internal communications by showcasing faculty and staff and reinforcing school pride and community spirit
- Develop and publish engaging content across digital platforms (website and social media accounts) in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with Loyola Academy’s brand and reputation
- Create multimedia content including graphics, videos, and motion assets to support school initiatives

- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed

- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of professional video production experience (filming, editing, sound, color correction, motion graphics)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), DSLR/mirrorless cameras, and audio recording equipment
- Experience with still photography and photo editing software preferred
Working Hours
Standard working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility is required, as evening and weekend work will occasionally be necessary. In some instances, weekday hours may be adjusted accordingly. A schedule will be reviewed and coordinated with the supervisor.
Benefits and Compensation
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually
Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
