Overview
Position: Team Photographer
Department: Creative
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager of Photo
Status: Full-time (Exempt)
Position Summary
The Carolina Panthers Team Photographer will serve as the secondary football photographer for the team, photographing all practices, games, and team shoots, in addition to other Club tentpole moments.
Responsibilities
- Photography: Deliver fans the comprehensive story of our football team through photo.
- Serve as a photographer for all Panthers gamedays, home and away.
- Serve as a photographer around key football moments including practices, travel, and key offseason events.
- Publish all football photo galleries to PhotoShelter in timely manner following football events.
- Develop systems to shoot, edit, and deliver football photos needed for other key content functions including:
- Website Articles
- Social Media
- Video
- Research, pitch, and execute systems for logging and tagging photos in a way that will be accessible, searchable, and highly usable across the TSE organization.
- Responsible for logging processes and training
- Curate and maintain Panthers Photoshelter account, or other photo asset management systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years as a professional photographer, with notable experience collaborating effectively with other creatives
- Extensive experience shooting and editing sports photography
- Demonstrated passion for football
- Ability and desire to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays is a must. This role is expected to work every home and away game during the NFL season, plus travel and special events.
- Must pass pre-employment screens
- Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and think creatively

Physical Requirements
- Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time.
- Bending, standing, reaching, kneeling, and lifting technology equipment and office materials.
- Walking throughout the stadium facility, sometimes for an extended period of time.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions).
