The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Flight Operations Generalist - Radio Operator to join our team in North Charleston, SC. The Radio Operators are tasked with the operation and maintenance of radio communication equipment. This includes not only basic operation but also troubleshooting, repair, and ensuring the successful transmission and reception of signals.
Position Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining radio communication equipment, including both hardware and software
- Troubleshooting and repairing radio equipment in case of failures or malfunctions
- Testing radio equipment to ensure clear and reliable communication
- Setting up antennas and mobile communication units during field operations
- Adjusting equipment for optimal performance by tuning and programming devices
- Complying with all regulations regarding radio frequency use and interference
- Monitoring and logging communication transmissions as required
- Training other team members on the proper use of radio communication equipment
- Installing and testing new radio communication systems and software
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 1+ years of experience operating and maintaining radios
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- 1+ years of experience in aviation operations
- 1+ year of experience coordinating flight line activities

Shift
This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift and/or weekends required to support program objectives such as weekends and/or adjusting shifts.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $79,050 – $106,950
