Overview
Our law firm is looking for a detail-oriented SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to execute day-to-day digital marketing initiatives that strengthen our online visibility and generate qualified case leads. This role is hands-on and focuses on optimizing our website, running digital campaigns, and ensuring our content reaches the right audience. The ideal candidate has experience in SEO and digital marketing within a competitive industry such as legal, medical, or professional services.
Responsibilities
- SEO Execution: Perform keyword research with a focus on local search and legal-specific terms. Optimize web pages, blogs, and landing pages for on-page SEO. Support link-building campaigns and outreach efforts. Conduct regular site audits and implement technical SEO improvements (meta tags, site speed, mobile optimization, schema, etc.).
- Digital Campaign Support: Assist in setting up and optimizing paid search (Google Ads, Bing) and paid social campaigns. Collaborate with content writers to ensure articles and case studies are optimized for search engines and client conversion. Manage email campaigns, remarketing ads, and social media promotions. Ensure all digital activities comply with state bar and ABA advertising guidelines.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar). Prepare reports on traffic, rankings, and lead generation performance. Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with intake and marketing teams to ensure leads are being captured and tracked effectively. Communicate findings and updates to marketing leadership. Stay up to date with SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and legal marketing trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3+ years of hands-on SEO and digital marketing experience.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz), Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social ad platforms.
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Familiarity with technical SEO (HTML, CSS basics) a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
