Description of Services
Texas Health and Human Services Commission require the services of 1 Systems Analyst 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
The role of UI/UX designers is central to improving accessibility, usability, and responsiveness of the HHSC eligibility systems.
Required Skills
- Experience: 4 years; Hands-on experience designing user interfaces and experiences for enterprise systems, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
- Experience: 4 years; Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into intuitive design solutions that align with accessibility and branding standards.
- Experience: 4 years; Experience applying UX design principles such as hierarchy, contrast, and alignment to create responsive and accessible web and mobile interfaces.
- Experience: 4 years; Experience creating wireframes and prototypes that support agile development cycles, including sketch-to-visual fidelity transitions.
- Experience: 5 years; Preferred; Experience designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives to communicate timelines, workflows, and system architecture.
- Experience: 3 years; Preferred; Demonstrated ability to facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Education: 3 years; Preferred; Bachelor\'s degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
- Other: 3 years; Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort.
