Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Compensation The pay for this position is
$16.00 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CT (2 weeks)
Work Schedule: Shifts vary between 7:00am – 8:00pm CT (8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday)
Mandatory overtime may be required
Fully remote – must have a private home office with a door and
hardwired internet connection
(no Wi-Fi)
Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Responsibilities Perform non-clinical activities and functions under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Review and maintain compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific requirements
Sort and process incoming faxes and mail to meet service level agreements
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely transaction processing
Collaborate with team members to meet business unit objectives
Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Requirements High School Diploma or GED
6 months – 1 year of data entry experience required
1 year of healthcare-related experience (hospital, managed care, physician office, PBM) preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM (screenshot of recent test required)
Must provide screenshot of internet speed test
Must have a distraction-free home office with a door and hardwired internet
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
