The Marketing Automation Specialist II builds on the foundational responsibilities of Specialist I with advanced HubSpot CRM expertise, CRM strategy leadership, and ownership of analytics initiatives. This role is responsible for designing multi-step, behavior-based CRM journeys, driving improvements in segmentation and targeting, and developing insights that guide organizational decision-making. As part of a small, versatile marketing team, this specialist balances CRM strategy with broader marketing contributions, ensuring that HubSpot and other technologies are fully leveraged to deliver personalized, measurable, and scalable member experiences. Key Responsibilities
Lead CRM strategy and analytics initiatives, aligning HubSpot CRM workflows with marketing, lending, and member service objectives. Design, optimize, and manage multi-step, behavior-based journeys in HubSpot, leveraging advanced segmentation, personalization, and testing. Develop and maintain attribution models and dashboards (Power BI) to evaluate CRM and campaign performance across all digital channels. Ensure CRM data integrity through governance, hygiene practices, and integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., Origence, Encompass). Provide strategic recommendations based on CRM and campaign analytics to optimize member engagement, retention, and ROI. Drive process improvements by transitioning manual workflows into automated, CRM-enabled solutions. Monitor SEO, UX, and conversion rate performance, aligning findings with CRM-driven strategies. Research emerging MarTech trends, competitor strategies, and CRM innovations to keep the Credit Union at the forefront of digital marketing. Contribute to a wide variety of general marketing initiatives, including campaigns, community events, and cross-departmental projects. Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field required. 5+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in digital marketing analytics and HubSpot CRM management. Strong proficiency with HubSpot CRM, Power BI, GA4, and Google Tag Manager. Proven experience in CRM strategy, segmentation, attribution modeling, and data governance. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to translate CRM insights into business outcomes. Comfortable working in a small, collaborative team environment, contributing across specialized and general marketing functions. Working Conditions / Physical Demands
Work in an office environment, requiring the use of office equipment, such as personal computers, printers and copy machines. Must be able to frequently move around the office to perform activities. Occasionally work long hours to meet members’ needs, keep up with fluctuating volume and meet established goals and targets. Must be able to periodically travel to other branches and places of business and meetings by car or public transportation.
