Job Summary

Plans, manages, and executes corporate event strategy for trade shows, dealer shows, webinars, virtual events and other types of marketing events. Maintains library of branded product literature and marketing materials to supply events, sales team and marketing team. Supports and ensures consistent Labconco brand representation and messaging.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related degree preferred; or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Adobe Suite software.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage logistics and complex deliverables/timelines of trade show events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including editing, technical & creative writing, excellent grammar and proofreading.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply basic math and reasoning to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage, organize, multitask and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to legally drive a vehicle and travel as required, ~5 to 6x/year - occasionally over a weekend.
Work Schedule

Normal working hours are typically an 8 hour work day 8a - 5pm Monday - Friday. From time to time additional hours may be required on evenings and weekends, as needed. This position is expected to work onsite .

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize themes for events and drive ideas to fruition including collaboration and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Provide calculated, critical decisions about event direction, event budgets, overall impact with key dealer partners, and trade event presence.
  • Be the main point of contact to manage the onsite execution and wrap up for trade shows, dealer shows, webinars, virtual events and other corporate events.
  • Drive the the organization's appearance for both in-person and virtual events in collaboration with sales, marketing, and executive leaders.
  • Coordinate webinars and virtual evens with Product Management team and vendors.
  • Develop and execute creative event themes, guiding concepts from initial idea through full implementation to ensure cohesive and engaging experiences.
  • Recommend and evaluate the effectiveness of lead generating events through ROI and lead follow up analysis.
  • Suggest, evaluate, and maintain Labconco branded clothing and event giveaway inventory.
  • Own and foster the relationships with event vendors.
  • Keep costs contained by negotiating best prices with vendors, monitoring expenses and staying within budget.
  • Manage library of marketing materials for digital and physical distribution, including literature and materials for trade shows and events.
  • Pack, order, and ship demonstration equipment, while also maintaining the condition of shipping crates and arranging repairs as needed.
