Illinois Staffing is hiring: Interior Designer in Chicago

Job Title

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions for client needs.
• Select and specify FF&E, and gather pricing, specifications, and lead times.
• Coordinate with consultants and FF&E dealers to develop specifications.
• Contribute to design development phases and align designs with client goals.
• Create plans, 3D renderings, presentation drawings, and finish boards.
• Participate in client meetings and collect programming data.
• Conduct field surveys, document existing conditions, and create Revit models.
• Produce construction document sets according to established standards.
• Participate in submittal processes, addenda sketches, drawing revisions, and permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
• 1+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in interior design and FF&E and/or furniture design.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Experience with educational, municipal, workplace, or public projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction drawings and schematic design.
• Ability to draft construction documentation and details.
• Site survey and zoning knowledge.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
