As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and proactive communication. This position is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and responding professionally to inquiries or concerns. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Working environments and conditions may vary based on the technology and telecommunications location.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents that occur on the premises to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff to address security-related concerns specific to technology and telecommunications environments.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
