Overview

Product Marketing Manager, Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance – Redwood City, CA (Hybrid Office). Imagine waking up each day fueled by purpose and passion. This role focuses on shaping growth strategy within the BFSI sector and partnering with sales, product, and field teams to drive GTM initiatives and demand generation. Responsibilities Bring a deep understanding of banking, financial services and insurance, including regulatory environments, challenges, and opportunities. Serve as the voice of the market within the organization, ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams.

Conduct research on emerging BFSI trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the vertical, aligning product capabilities with industry pain points and business opportunities. Gather insights from customers, sales, and field teams to refine strategy and product development.

Present insights, strategies, and results to leadership to ensure alignment with broader objectives.

Drive thought leadership by creating content such as white papers, blogs, and webinars to position Informatica as an industry innovator.

Craft messaging and value propositions tailored to BFSI customers.

Build industry-specific stories with use cases and customer success examples.

Collaborate with product teams to translate technical capabilities into BFSI-relevant language and value.

Partner with sales to ensure knowledge, tools, and collateral support selling into BFSI accounts.

Create industry-specific assets like pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators, and solution briefs.

Deliver targeted training to equip sales teams to understand BFSI markets, buyer personas, and objection-handling techniques.

Work with field marketing to design and execute campaigns targeting BFSI accounts.

Influence the buyer journey by identifying key decision-makers and designing campaigns that engage them and fuel the pipeline.

Identify opportunities to showcase Informatica at industry events and conferences, and collaborate to ensure successful execution.

Turn customers into advocates by building relationships and developing compelling case studies and joint initiatives.

Track the effectiveness of industry-specific marketing efforts using data and metrics and manage the budget.

Articulate differentiators to remain competitive in BFSI and evolve the go-to-market approach.

What We'd Like To See Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience

Exceptional storytelling, communication skills and ability to present to audiences

Strategic thinker who can dive into details; natural collaborator in cross-functional teams

Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics with experience in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI

Ability to develop innovative and punchy messaging and campaigns

Proficiency in using AI for content writing and automating routine tasks

Role Essentials 3+ years of BFSI industry experience

Ability to present in front of an audience on BFSI topics
