Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to join our dynamic communications team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of public relations strategies that enhance our brand's visibility and reputation. You will work closely with experienced PR professionals to engage with various media outlets, coordinate press events, and collect data to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns. 

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
• Coordinate and help organize press events, media briefings, and promotional activities.
• Maintain an up-to-date media contact list and database for outreach purposes.
• Monitor media coverage related to the organization, compiling clips and reports for review.
• Assist in the creation and curating of content for social media platforms.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms; familiarity with PR tools is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• A basic understanding of media relations and the public relations landscape.
