As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in Expository Writing to individual students.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to tutor remotely (no commuting required).
• Be matched with students whose learning style and needs align with your expertise.
• Leverage the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage payments handled by Varsity Tutors.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Expository Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Preference given to candidates with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
