Responsibilities

  • Oversees tactical planning, execution and reporting of campaigns using knowledge of the media marketplace and channels to brainstorm activations and vendor options.
  • Maintains a base-level knowledge of buying for both online and offline media: Digital (Banners, Audio, Video), Search, Social, TV, Radio, OOH, Print.
  • Owns vendor communications and develops relationships with clients.
  • Manages RFP process: developing partner consideration sets, creating RFPs, and coordinating conversations with partners.
  • Collaborates on media buying, vendor contracts, and budget management by platform, including billing/invoicing.
  • Leads use of media buying tools (e.g., Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM/MOAT/IAS, Datorama, Tableau) to execute plans and buys.
  • Applies negotiation principles to ensure discounts and added value.
  • Acts as the first gatekeeper and reviewer for Assistant’s work and ensures smooth campaign launches and updates.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of the digital media trafficking process and performs weekly pacing and monitoring of campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a media investment/buying role across online and/or offline channels (Digital - Display, Audio, Video), including campaign execution and management (Search, Social, TV, Radio, OOH, Print).
  • Proficiency with media tools and platforms such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, Tableau.
  • Strong project and campaign management skills, including RFP development, vendor negotiations, trafficking, and pacing/reporting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills—able to manage vendor relationships and clearly articulate media strategies.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.

Salary and Location

Salary range $62k – $75k. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant. This role requires proximity to New York City. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of onsite work and the flexibility to work from home.
