The Louisiana Percent for Art Program, administered by the Office of Cultural Development, Division of the Arts, is seeking artists or artist teams to commission site-specific public artworks for Madison Hall at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) stage only—no proposals are required at this time.
The deadline to submit an RFQ is November 11, 2025.
The maximum award for this grant is $115,000 (all-inclusive).
Eligible applicants include professional artists or artist teams, 18 years and older, with demonstrated experience in public art and large-scale installations. This opportunity is open nationally.
Grant funds should be used to design and implement both an exterior and interior artwork that reflects the values of the College of Engineering and celebrates the culture and character of South Louisiana. The exterior piece will activate the building entrance, while the interior piece will serve as a centerpiece in the lobby.
