Position: Event Coordinator

Schedule: Weekends Off

Salary: $800 - $950 per week

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for orchestrating a variety of events from conception to execution. This includes understanding client needs, developing event concepts, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics to ensure that each event runs smoothly and successfully.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a range of events such as corporate functions, weddings, and community gatherings.
• Collaborate with clients to determine their event needs, objectives, and budget constraints.
• Source and negotiate with vendors, including caterers, entertainers, venues, and equipment rental companies.
• Manage event logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and vendors.
