Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Our client is looking for a creative Apparel Print/ Graphic Designer to join their team on a contract basis. Please attach your portfolio with submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the seasonal graphic and artwork direction through highly creative and inspiring research and concepts
  • Partnering with Senior Design Leadership and cross-category design leads to realize projects from kick-off through production hand-off, ensuring alignment with brand vision and design standards.
  • Create original print and artwork putting into repeats including color separations and formatting based on factory requirements.
  • Manage information flow and collaboration between cross-functional teams across various product categories.
  • Develop and maintain digital and physical presentation boards for design reviews, ensuring work is current and accurate.
  • Work proactively against development calendars to stay ahead of deadlines and key milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Graphic/Print Design within the apparel industry, with a proven and relevant portfolio
  • Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and related design programs
  • Strong hand drawing and painting skills, with the ability to adapt artistic style to diverse briefs
  • Solid working knowledge of fabrics, print techniques, and product development processes
  • Strong familiarity with fashion trends, textiles, and art history
  • Highly developed taste level with exceptional color sensibility
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and adept at time management with strict calendar adherence
  • Portfolio that reflects strong design sensibility, creative innovation, and relevance to the apparel market
