Responsibilities
- Manage the volunteers serving in the Master Gardener program, including website maintenance, managing the email listserv, upkeep of data in the volunteer management system, and program planning.
- Handle day-to-day response to inquiries (telephone calls, walk-ins, electronic contacts) regarding horticulture, gardening, and entomology.
Required Qualifications
- Experience communicating information to others; ability to recruit and direct volunteers; experience maintaining accurate, legible records; ability to communicate with staff of other agencies; ability to work effectively without close supervision; must have own transportation with valid operator's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred horticulture experience or interest, however, not required.
