Overview
Lede's Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing key client priorities within the cpg, lifestyle and fashion sectors. This includes developing and implementing high-impact PR strategies for product launches and events, generating targeted media outreach for editorial placements (both long and short lead), and driving communication and media awareness through social media engagement and influencer partnerships. The Manager will work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on key initiatives. They will simultaneously manage 5 - 8 accounts, striving to meet or exceed communication goals and lead targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consistently pitch and secure media coverage for clients
- Produce high-quality internal and external communications content, including writing, proofreading, and editing PR and marketing materials
- Develop compelling stories and narratives for clients
- Lead client communications, programs, events, and campaigns from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to budget
- Collaborate with various agency divisions to leverage network-wide expertise for clients
- Cultivate strong connections with leading and emerging editorial talents
- Develop and manage relationships with press contacts, key commentators, industry spokespeople, and beauty and wellness influencers
- Oversee junior team members in reviewing client agendas, recap reports, and clips
- Provide strategic counsel in collaboration with account leadership as needed
- Work in-office a minimum of 3 days per week
- After hours and weekend work may be required for events and other projects
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 - 6 years of PR agency experience working with cpg, fashion and lifestyle brands; luxury experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant brands, culture and the local landscape, including trends, market dynamics, media
- Demonstrated success in securing impactful media placements
- Strong networking abilities with a proven capacity to build relationships with key influencers, media, and industry leaders
- Exceptional project management skills, with a focus on organization and strategic planning
- Superior written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and maintain strong professional relationships
