DESCRIPTION: The Senior Media Manager will report to the Head of Theatrical Media, working on domestic media for Amazon MGM Studios. The role will be responsible for developing media plans, building effective presentations, and contributing to overall media investment strategy. Successful candidates will be skilled in media planning and buying, can stay nimble in rapidly changing environment, and is self-motivated and collaborative.
Key job responsibilities As Senior Media Manager at Amazon MGM Studios, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic media plans, while leading the execution of media planning, buying, and various campaign initiatives. You will oversee the daily operations of film campaigns, which includes creating film summaries, media highlight reports, and campaign updates.
This role requires building compelling presentations for internal marketing teams, studio leadership, and filmmakers, as well as representing the media team in various meetings. You will contribute to the ideation and execution of media stunts, offer research-based insights and trend analysis to inform campaign strategies, and manage both short and long-term media projects. Additionally, you will support senior executives, collaborate with team members, and help train and mentor junior staff. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting - Fluent in media terminology and formulas with a strong ability to analyze media plans, schedules, and buys. Comfortable with reworking media plans and providing media estimates on the fly. Must be technically trained with experience in building media plans from start to finish - Strong knowledge and experience in all mediums including Digital/Social, TV, Radio, OOH - Ability to stay flexible with job responsibilities and in all situations - Comfort and ability in multi-tasking and reprioritizing work on the fly - Strong problem solving skills and eager to find solutions - Self-starter, looking to go beyond a specific task and to make the work better - Team player who is eager to jump in on projects and motivated to move our dept forward - Comfort in participating in group meetings, presentations, and to overall media strategies; having a voice, contributing with suggestions and ideas, brainstorming - Comfort in presenting, both formally and casually - in both big and small rooms - Ability to build compelling, clear cases via verbal and written communication - Creative thinking -
building initiatives impacting media campaigns, and formulating creative, marketing/promotional ideas - Love and knowledge of media, movies, and entertainment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market.
