Position Description: The CAD Designer at Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, WI will be responsible for the development of chiller indoor Data Center cooling product designs using the SolidEdge CAD platform. This position may report to a Senior Designer, Senior Level Engineer, or Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 2D and 3D CAD modeling, and detailed documentation supporting our indoor product offerings.
• Generate new designs from product requirement inputs as well as edit and maintain existing models.
• Communicate directly with the customer's engineering and/or design team, Modine suppliers, and Modine facilities.
• Create approval drawings, shop floor detailed drawings, bill of materials, upload drawings to PDM system and support the routing process.

Required Education & Qualifications:

• Requires a 2 year Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Design or related technical discipline with 5+ years design experience, or 8-15 years equivalent design experience with 3D modeling preferable SolidEdge or NX.
• Experience in all aspects of computer modeling and drawing documentation with additional consideration to clarity of presentation and conformance to Standard Practices & Work Instructions.
• Advance level of experience in 3D modeling and parametric design, SolidEdge is preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal modeling and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in electrical design using Autocad.
