Overview: The Paramount Brand Studio Activation Team manages integrated marketing campaigns across all screens and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful branded content programs. The Associate Manager of Activation will assist with client-facing activation of multiplatform sponsorship programs across MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Nickelodeon, Nick@Nite, AwesomenessTV, PlutoTV, and Paramount+.

The Associate Manager supports senior team members in LA and NYC, helping complete campaigns that are industry-leading in creativity and performance. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in project and people management, storytelling, client service, and fluency across media platforms. The role includes involvement in RFP responses, campaign management, department tracking, cross-company alignment, award submissions, and marketing materials creation. Interaction with the Ad Sales team, external partners (clients, media agencies, creative agencies), and internal teams (Ad Sales, Production, Programming, Media Planning, Multiplatform, Brand Marketing, Legal, and more) is required. Professionalism and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the management of multiplatform campaigns, managing communication, trackers, budgets, compliance, timelines, and conflict resolution to ensure client happiness and campaign delivery. It also involves reviewing scripts for integration opportunities and advertiser sensitivities, guiding activation leads to stay on track, supporting high-investment campaigns, collaborating with Creative teams during scripting and on-set activities, attending live shoots when necessary, anticipating roadblocks, and partnering with Marketing Innovation on new products for campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support team members in managing best-in-class multiplatform marketing campaigns for Paramount advertisers, including in-show integrations, short-form video, social-first content, and experiential activations.
  • Help manage communication, trackers, budgets, compliance, timelines, and conflict resolution to ensure client satisfaction and campaign delivery.
  • Review scripts for relevant integration opportunities and advertiser sensitivities.
  • Provide direction to internal teams to remain on track with deliverables and client expectations.
  • Support senior team members on high-investment, high-profile campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Creative teams during scripting to ensure brand and talent safety; attend shoots and translate feedback to production and talent teams.
  • Attend live shoots when necessary.
  • Anticipate roadblocks and escalate as needed for resolution.
  • Partner with Marketing Innovation on new and emerging products for campaigns.

Macro strategy responsibility

  • Assist in developing materials to generate demand for marketing partnership solutions and socialize opportunities within internal teams.
  • Liaise across functions to develop marketing opportunities tied to Paramount IP, covering deliverables, talent, creative scope, and budget breakdown.
  • Develop case study materials (one-sheets, collateral) to market Paramount capability, collaborating with internal teams to articulate value propositions and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of professional experience, preferably in Entertainment, Advertising, or Marketing.
  • Additional Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adaptability.
  • Deep digital and social media knowledge with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Well-organized, meticulous, able to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Self-starter, strategic problem solver with a passion for Entertainment content and pop culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct research and compile data to create materials and business recommendations for senior management.
  • Bonus: fan of Paramount content, talent, and franchises.
