Overview
Marketing Lead (Mid-Senior) for INTX, based in Austin, TX. Full-time role, reporting to the CEO/CXO. This is a hands-on, first marketing hire responsible for defining and executing the entire marketing function from strategy to execution. Location and compensation details: Austin, TX. Develop and own INTX’s marketing strategy from brand positioning to lead generation and customer engagement. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, email, events, and content. Manage the company website, SEO/SEM, and drive traffic growth. Create compelling content including whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, and newsletters. Set up and optimize marketing tools, CRM, analytics, and performance tracking. Partner with sales to align messaging, generate qualified leads, and shorten sales cycles. Define KPIs and report on marketing performance; iterate rapidly based on data. Manage external marketing and PR agencies—scopes, deliverables, brand voice consistency, and ROI accountability. Build awareness in the P&C insurance space by identifying key channels, events, and communities. What We’re Looking For
Deep marketing expertise : Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies, especially in B2B, in close partnership with sales; strong content marketing, demand generation, branding, and analytics. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and wear many hats in early-stage settings; comfortable being a one-person marketing team or operating in lean teams. Ability to prioritize, iterate quickly, and balance strategy with execution; strong team player mentality. P&C Insurance Industry Knowledge
Experience with insurance carriers, reinsurers, MGAs, or related knowledge a plus. Understanding of industry challenges, language, and buying behaviors. Experience marketing a SaaS product, familiarity with funnels, MQLs/SQLs, PLG, or ABM tactics. Qualifications
5–8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or ownership capacity. Strong portfolio of campaigns with measurable results. Excellent writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills. Proficient with HubSpot, Webflow, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, and marketing automation platforms. Comfortable with light design work or managing freelancers/agencies. Self-driven, curious, and eager to build from scratch. Compensation and Benefits
