Job Description Responsibilities:
Work closely with leadership and developers to build exceptional, SEO-friendly digital experiences in WordPress
Front-end development using HTML5, CSS, JS, jQuery within WordPress
Ensure code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
Perform performance (PageSpeed) testing & optimization
Lead discussions, gather project requirements, develop user acceptance testing plans
Design and execute tests to optimize the user experience and improve conversion rates
Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
Qualifications Require Experience + Skills:
BA/BS required
6+ years’ experience in website development
4+ years’ experience with WordPress as a platform, including custom plugins, post types, taxonomies, multi-lingual and use of WordPress beyond typical “blog” use cases
Expert-level understanding of web interactions, web-based layouts, and responsive design
Experience using GIT, LESS, SASS, DDEV, NPM, Grunt, Gulp is a plus
Experience with React is a big plus
