The VP of Brand Marketing is a pivotal senior leader accountable for building Milk Makeup into a true global business powerhouse. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this leader will be both the guardian of brand equity and a driver of commercial results—responsible for shaping global strategy, product marketing, and communication while ensuring brand initiatives translate to measurable growth in revenue, market share, and profitability. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of brand building and business impact, ensuring Milk’s creative vision fuels sustained commercial success across DTC, Sephora, Ulta, and global markets. What YOU’ll do
Global Brand & Business Strategy
Own the development of Milk’s global brand strategy, ensuring it drives measurable business growth across all channels and markets. Serve as a key partner to the Executive Leadership Team, shaping long-term brand, category, and commercial strategies. Align marketing investments with global business goals, ensuring brand initiatives deliver ROI and hit revenue targets. Commercial Leadership & Accountability
Partner with Sales, Retail, and E-commerce teams to create integrated business plans that maximize revenue, retail sell-through, and digital performance. Leverage brand marketing initiatives to grow market share, consumer penetration, and loyalty across all regions. Translate consumer insights into strategies that not only inspire but also deliver against topline growth and bottom-line profitability. Act as a thought leader on global pricing, promotions, and channel strategies to ensure brand consistency and commercial success. Product Marketing & Innovation
Key input on end-to-end product marketing: insights, positioning, naming, claims, packaging, and GTM plans that drive sales and repeat purchase. Use consumer testing and market research to prioritize innovation that strengthens brand equity
and
business performance. Build launch playbooks that optimize product success across DTC, Sephora, and Ulta—balancing creativity with commercial KPIs. Communication & Content Strategy
Oversee global PR, influencer, and social strategies with a focus on driving both cultural relevance
and measurable business outcomes . Direct social-first campaigns (especially TikTok) that grow brand community while impacting conversion, engagement, and retention metrics. Establish frameworks for measuring EMV, brand health, and share of voice while tying back to sales growth. Consumer Insights & Testing
Champion global consumer testing programs to validate product, creative, and messaging strategies. Create a data-driven culture that uses testing and insights to sharpen decision-making and improve business outcomes. Build repeatable systems for measuring and optimizing consumer engagement across geographies. Organizational Leadership & Team Management
Lead and inspire a senior-level team across brand, social, PR, and product marketing, ensuring business goals are embedded in every workstream. Define KPIs for brand health, consumer engagement, and
commercial results , holding teams accountable for delivering growth. Foster a culture of creativity, inclusivity, and accountability that reflects Milk’s values. We’d like YOU to have
Experience:
10+ years in brand marketing (beauty or CPG preferred), with 5+ years in a senior leadership role influencing global business results. Commercial acumen:
Proven ability to tie brand marketing to sales, share, and profit growth across channels. Expertise:
Track record of building and scaling modern brands through breakthrough creative, product marketing, and innovation. Leadership:
Strong people leader with experience managing senior managers and shaping cross-functional outcomes. Mindset:
