We are a boutique kitchen and bath design studio located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz. Our showroom features high-quality cabinetry and curated finishes, and we pride ourselves on delivering thoughtful, functional, and beautiful designs tailored to each client. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team part-time. This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote work and in-person time in our downtown Santa Cruz showroom. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused, with strong technical and communication skills. Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to develop kitchen and bath designs that reflect their needs, style, and budget. Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and renderings using 2020 Design Flex. Specify cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and hardware. Work closely with vendors and contractors to ensure accurate orders and smooth project execution. Support showroom activities, including client meetings and product selections. Maintain organized project files and documentation. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen and bath design. Proficiency in 2020 Design Flex required. Degree or certificate in Interior Design, Kitchen & Bath Design, or related field. Strong understanding of cabinetry, spatial planning, and design principles. Excellent communication and client service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment. Local to the Santa Cruz area, with the ability to work both remotely and in our studio. Schedule & Compensation
Part-time: 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule with hybrid work arrangement. Compensation: Base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience. Seniority level
