Overview The Chicago Bulls are building a future-looking marketing capability that applies a combination of data, technology, and creativity to drive fan development and support organizational growth. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and diligent Coordinator to join our Integrated Marketing team, tasked with ensuring our organization-wide efforts are aligned and consistent while driving maximum impact. The Integrated Marketing team sits within the larger Marketing capability. We are seeking an individual with an integrated marketing background who is passionate about the brand, is detail-oriented, and can work in the fast-paced environment of a professional sports organization. In this role, you will collaborate with nearly all departments across the Bulls front office to support the effective utilization of all owned marketing channels as well as marketing and promotional campaign planning, strategy, and execution.

Key Responsibilities As an Integrated Marketing Coordinator, you will have hands-on involvement in a variety of initiatives that support our strategic direction. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, this individual will work with the Marketing team to implement comprehensive marketing campaigns and amplify tentpole moments throughout the season for the team including grassroots activations, in-game promotions, advertising, broadcast support, and digital content. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead planning logistics for key marketing initiatives including development of timelines, creative assets, promotional execution, on-site activation, and pre/post communication needs.

Own and manage all in-game promotional assets to ensure current efforts are being properly promoted during the season.

Ensure projects stay on track by balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously from origin to execution.

Assist the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing with cause marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, retail, and other tentpole campaigns throughout the calendar year to ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and are completed effectively.

Work closely with the Partnership Marketing team to ensure contracted elements are fulfilled both in and out of season.

Align with Entertainment & Events and Corporate Partnerships to effectively use allotted budgets, supply branded elements, and activate promotional plans.

Collaborate with Brand and Fan Development on the strategy and execution of events, collaborations, and fan development efforts.

Work alongside the Digital Marketing and Product teams to increase impact of lead generation, nurture, and retention campaigns.

Review all invoices and expenses against designated budget.

Participate in the development of strategy, activation, advertising and miscellaneous branding related efforts.

Build and deliver detailed recaps for org-wide initiatives aimed at providing a snapshot of the team’s efforts, impact, and key insights from the activation.

Assist in developing and updating comprehensive programmatic calendars and activation schedules.

Develop email communications, talking points, and cross-channel promotional plans.

Assist in scheduling, requesting assets for, and trafficking in-arena and game broadcast ad placements, serving as a point of contact for the United Center and broadcast partners.

Qualifications The team is looking for a highly organized self-starter who works well across departments and has direct experience in or related to this role. You could be a potential match for this role if you have a strong mix of the following:

Experience in brand, marketing, communications, or related areas with a focus on marketing. Experience in sports is not required but an interest is suggested

A strong sense of modern-day marketing strategies, including understanding how various platforms work together and influence fandom

Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

Highly skilled in project management, specifically working on large project implementations that require collaboration to meet deadlines and deliverables

Working familiarity with data capture, digital, creative development, advertising, and events

Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work within a constantly evolving environment

Ability to communicate articulately and confidently with individuals at every level of the organization both written and verbally

Ability to lead meetings and prioritize multiple projects at once

Experience with handling a budget for large and small work projects

Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this role is $45,000 - $50,000 annually and is eligible to earn overtime pay + annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Full-time remote work is not an option for this role and interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area. This role will require a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
