Pay Range: $102,000-140,000/year Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. As a member of the Internal Communications Department, the

Manager, Corporate Communications

will be accountable for planning and executing an internal communication strategy surrounding business priorities such as: 1) a cultural change associated with taking performance higher, driving continuous improvement, 2) increased two-way interactive dialogue between leaders and employees at all levels, and 3) cross-functional communications and alignment among teams and departments. This position is expected to collaborate, learn from and share best practices among the regional Communications Specialists that are peers to this role.

The position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and will be based at Quest's Secaucus, NJ HQ.

Responsibilities

Assists Sr. Director Internal Communications in leading the enterprise employee communications process. Works with business leaders to translate organizational actions and strategies into effective employee communications. Translates complex business updates, industry shifts and product developments into clear, compelling communications that drive understanding, alignment and engagement across a diverse and global employee base. Serves as a trusted adviser and partner to senior executives and stakeholders, helping implement internal communication strategies, campaigns and initiatives that align to business goals and objectives. Develops and creates a steady stream of content across multiple internal channels, including executive emails, manager guides, presentations, intranet articles, customer stories and videos. Collaborates with internal communications and multimedia team members to build relationships and ensure uniform internal messaging. Activates enterprise-driven colleague engagement strategies to inspire a culture of optimism and creative excellence among our communications team and agency partners; demonstrates company values daily. Executes and measures annual, quarterly and monthly communications programs to engage the company’s diverse, multi-shift employee base. Develops key messages based on business priorities and creates feedback mechanisms from front-line employees. Designs a one-voice enterprise communications approach that can be customized for audience groups by level, department, geography, etc. Deploys strategic messages through media such as social media, email, in person, tele-conference, town halls, newsletters and other written materials. Maintains strong relationships with leaders, Regional and External Communications and Human Resources to execute a strategy that leverages corporate messaging while meeting regional needs. Contributes to quarterly ourQuest magazine, ourQuest Online intranet and other employee communications vehicles. Uses Quest Management Systems (QMS) tools and resources at a proficient level.

**Qualifications** 5 - 7 years of experience planning and executing communications, particularly during periods of extensive change. Preferred Work Experience: Experience working in large organizations with large numbers of front-line, non-exempt employees is highly preferred. Skills: Excellent MS Office Skills, especially PowerPoint, exceptional written and verbal communications, effective interpersonal skills. Creativity and innovation Ability to see the big picture and communicate in a clear and concise manner Excellence in written communications; ability to write persuasively Ability to use visuals and other non-written means of communicating in presentations Public speaking to guide senior leaders effectively Capability to interact with all levels of the organization Ability to work independently, self-directed while also collaborating as part of a larger matrixed team Required Education: BA/BS 37299 Quest Diagnostics honors our service members and encourages veterans to apply.
