Insight Global is seeking a Senior Design System Product Designer to support an enterprise Design System team. The design system is mature within the customer facing design team but is not public. The role is going to be a senior level role to hands on complete end to end design for design system workflows. The ideal candidate will be senior in design communication skills and be able to work with stakeholders to represent the enterprise design system. This person will be helping to support decision making for the design system team, as well as working across the product to enhance and design independently. Candidates will be in the weeds of maintaining the system, understand components quality, and be able to lead design system demos. The team is collaborative with a peer design system development team, as well as VQA teams, and creates design system content for matrix product and journey design teams to use. The system is already stood up, but this role will be to help maintain the design system as well as enhance it with a new rebrand that took place. Candidates should have great communication and design storytelling skills, be confident in managing design system group work, be able to make design system decisions with a systematic approach, as well as support a complex enterprise environment.

5+ years of experience and master of craft of design systems Balance of experience with UI/UX Experience tackling design challenges with a systems thinking approach Expert Figma experience Ability to independently drive work across multiple design system web and mobile design flows Strong attention to detail and proactiveness Hands on experience building a system with development teams Expert with design judgment, systematic decision making IoS/Android and web based platforms Writing for clarity and detail oriented with documentation Experience with design system story telling through presentations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Excellent experience building decks to present design system credibility Research for competitive analysis Background working with a design agency Typography experience Motion or illustration design
