Partner closely with design and production to bring early garment concepts to life,
transforming sketches into clear, tech-driven specifications
Rework inspirational pieces to speak the design language and vision of new collections or fit in with
current styling choices Build out detailed tech packs that include fabric composition, construction notes, trim callouts, and precision measurements—all aligned to design intent Lead fit sessions and deliver actionable feedback to factories, streamlining sampling and improving production timelines Help define the identity of the new womenswear & girls *** line by shaping core styles, signature fits,
and sizing standards, ensuring brand consistency across categories Created the standard core activewear items to shift production from just in time to stock inventory to speed up seasonal deliveries Create, update, establish and utilize graded specs/blocks based on fabrication for all sample development and confirmed orders Review and evaluate proto /fit samples, pre-production samples, testing samples and TOP samples on all orders Conduct fittings with design, sales and Production to determine final fit and workmanship per silhouette Communicate with factories fit and construction comments and ensuring that they fully understand and follow all needed corrections. Review and correct patterns and artwork placements provided by factories. Maintain and create a library for block body, fit and construction standard per customer. Juggling multiple accounts jr's/ym's for both domestic & import Fit comments need to be submitted same day Assist with building development specs Assign body codes Maintain spec update/files as needed from development thru production Must be able to build technical sketches as needed to communicate clear instructions to factory
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
