ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Will be designated as a Bingo Agent during Promotional Bingo sessions.
- Assist in the development, coordination and actual performance of all property promotions, special events and specially designated tournaments. Assist in arranging for the facilities, services and extra personnel, as required.
- Lead, supervise and oversee each planned step or activity associated with the organization and implementation of all approved gaming and/or slot tournaments.
- Ensure compliance and proper coordination with the Choctaw Gaming Commission concerning the government regulations, Title 31 requirements and other tribal, state, federal and gaming regulatory standards during all gaming and/or slot tournaments.
- Research, compile and file data and information that relates to approved special promotions, events and tournaments. Compare to information related to similar type events held by competitors of the Resort.
- Compose and type routine reports, rosters, lists, spreadsheets and correspondence accurately. Organize and maintain file system, either alphabetically, numerically, and/or categorical, as required.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining the departmental budget register and assist in the reconciliation of any transactions or figures that may differ when comparing the projected versus actual amounts.
- Operate basic office equipment in order to complete assigned tasks.
- Assist in completing special projects and assisting other Marketing or Promotions staff as requested or required.
- Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above
Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred. One (1) year or more of prior experience in conducting or performing in special events or promotions is preferred.
TESTING:
No minimum score, on Data Entry, Keyboarding and on the Excel. Must take the required testing identified for this position.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be comfortable speaking in public, be able to interact with guests/audience in an engaging and entertaining manner, have superb oratory skills and be able to speak clearly so that guests/audience will understand via Public Address System. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook), CMS or a comparable tracking system, LMS or a comparable hotel tracking system, Stratton Warren is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and one on one.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential physical abilities are stand or walk for extended periods of time in excess of four (4) hours and for 90% of assigned shift. Excessive bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pulling and pushing may be required throughout the assigned shift. Must be able to lift and maneuver at least fifty (50) lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
