Overview
The Videographer will edit and sort video content, be responsible for storyboarding, shooting footage, editing, managing creative assets, and maintaining all video equipment.
Responsibilities
- Implement post-production procedures to meet organizational requirements, including collection, subtitle, editing, testing, composing and production.
- Complete videotaping and post-production.
- Multitasking skills for working with many crew members at once.
- Demonstrate creative thinking with strong attention to detail, and have the physical stamina to operate and carry recording equipment for extended periods.
- Film compelling, professional-quality video content across multiple formats (social media, promotional, YouTube).
- Edit raw footage into polished, visually impactful videos.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish.
- Stay updated on industry trends to produce modern, relevant content.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license from state of residence is required.
- A High School Diploma/GED is required. An associate's degree in journalism or Communications is preferred.
- Experience: 24 years of experience in photography and videography with a strong understanding of video production tools and applications. Proven ability in all aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, lighting, sound, and storytelling, supported by a required demo reel. Proficient in video planning, scripting, and editing software. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address production challenges and maintain punctuality throughout all phases of the project.
- Additional Information: Subject to 24-hour call and travel to work locations. Adobe Creative Suite (for design studios), Pro Tools or Ableton Live (for music production), Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere (for video editing), Lighting Design or Stage Management (for theater) preferred. Physical Demands: Requires constant bending, carrying, hearing, kneeling, seeing, standing, walking. Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling up to 20lbs. Frequent climbing, crawling sitting and twisting. Operates light or heavy equipment. Subject to outdoor environment and operating office equipment.
