Art Therapist Job at Beyond Words: Music, Art & Dance Center in North Royalton

Overview

We are currently hiring a part-time art therapist, with possibility for growth to full-time, salary employee status within 6-8 months (if desired). Art therapist must have ATR-P status no later than October 1, 2025. ATR-BC status is preferred, but we can provide the required 1000 client contact hours and 100 supervision hours in order to sit for the Board Exam. This position includes direct service Monday-Friday. Hours are set at the beginning of each semester (January, June & September) and will vary each day (e.g., 9a-5p or 10a-6p). The work week includes direct client contact, planning/documentation, supervision meetings, and travel between clients. This position requires travel to Chagrin Falls, Mantua and Painesville during the day and to the North Royalton studio after school.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct art therapy services to clients Monday through Friday.
• Perform planning and documentation during office hours.
• Attend supervision meetings as part of clinical development.
• Travel between client locations, including travel to Chagrin Falls, Mantua, Painesville and the North Royalton studio after school.

Qualifications

• ATR-P status required no later than October 1, 2025.
• ATR-BC status preferred, but the organization can provide the required 1000 client contact hours and 100 supervision hours to sit for the Board Exam.
