Real Chemistry is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Art to join our growing team. This hybrid role is based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you’ll do in this role is to lead art direction and design across a variety of tactics, translating scientific information into compelling campaigns while championing creative thinking aligned with brand personality.

Responsibilities

• Lead art direction and design across a variety of tactics
• Translate scientific information into compelling, memorable campaigns
• Champion creative thinking for campaigns and initiatives that advance creative strategy and brand personality
• Collaborate with Account and Strategy teams at all stages of projects
• Independently lead multiple projects, potentially across different brands or industries
• Present work clearly and confidently to clients and internal teams
• Provide performance feedback for team members
• Build strong working relationships between the business and clients
• Work with art/design, tech, editorial, and project management to meet deadlines and budgets
• Assign creative teams based on ability and workload
• Identify and interview prospective creative candidates

What You Should Have

• 10+ years of healthcare/pharmaceutical art direction and design
• Experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical agency settings required
• Portfolio or PDF of relevant work samples required
• Oncology experience

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $165,000 – $180,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range. Posting salary reflects current figures.

Work Model

Real HART/Real Hybrid: offices in the US, UK, and Europe with in-person collaboration two days per week where applicable. Remote work is supported with quarterly in-person gatherings. Regional teams and flexibility are emphasized.
