Full Job Description: Audio Video Technician

Grade: Hourly 14 | H-14

Position Summary: The Audio Video Technician assists with the maintenance of house lighting, sound, and video projection systems for all events held throughout the district. Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies. Supports the district’s classroom/non-classroom audio systems and interactive/non-interactive displays. Sets up, operates and maintains the mobile audio equipment for district events which includes Board Meetings.

Education

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

  • Two (2) years’ experience in operating complex lighting and sounds systems

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.

  • Proficient in Mobile Public Address Systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
  • Possess or ability to obtain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds and work out of a mechanical lift
