Grace Chapel is seeking a creative, energetic, and technically skilled Content Creator & On-Camera Storyteller to bring our message to life across digital platforms. This role will create engaging social content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), as well as longform video (YouTube, live streams, teaching clips). The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in front of the camera and behind it. They are able to shoot, edit, and publish content that connects with both our congregation and new audiences online.

This is a Sunday – Thursday position reporting to the Director of Digital Ministry & Production.

Areas of Ownership

  • Content Creation: Produce weekly short-form video content (reels, shorts, clips) and longform YouTube episodes that highlight Grace Chapel’s teaching, stories, and community life.
  • On-Camera Presence: Serve as an engaging, authentic host across digital platforms as the “face” of Grace Chapel’s online storytelling. This includes longform YouTube videos and reels for TikTok & Instagram.
  • Storytelling & Editing: Transform sermons, testimonies, and community stories into compelling, shareable video narratives.
  • Social Media Optimization: Tailor content for platform-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Community Engagement: Host online conversations, interact with followers, and help build a warm and inviting digital presence.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the digital team, pastors, and creative staff to align content with ministry goals.

Education and training requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field of study
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience with social media and video production
  • A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Social media savviness and video production experience and expertise
  • Organized, a self-starter, and highly relational.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; highly pro-active and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Technical understanding of video editing software and workflows for both social media and long form content
  • Team-Oriented: A gifted and energetic collaborator who can engage with staff and volunteers through the planning and execution phases of communication projects. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop. Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and systems.
