Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and organized Content & Social Coordinator to join our team. The Content & Social Coordinator will oversee and execute content strategies across multiple platforms, ensure brand consistency, and enhance audience engagement. This role combines social media management, copywriting, and administrative support for media relations, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee social media management for the H-D Museum social channels (@hdmuseum) and collaborate with other platforms, H-D Milwaukee Experiences channels: @davidsonparkmke, @motorbarrestaurant, and @1903events.
  • Own social media calendars, content creation, scheduling/publishing on H-D Museum social handles, and provide guidance for external partners handling social media on other MKE Experience channels.
  • Monitor and respond to social comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement.
  • Design and execute email campaigns, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, and event announcements. Write engaging copy for emails and monitor performance metrics, partnering with the HDMC digital team on creation and deployment of emails pertaining to H-D Museum & MKE Experiences.
  • Write and publish engaging website content and regularly update event and program information online to promote upcoming activities and initiatives.
  • Ongoing copywriting and proofreading support across content channels; ensure content aligns with brand voice and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify new content and storytelling opportunities.
  • Assist with coordination for hosting journalists, media, and influencers, including media logistics, itineraries, and communications.
  • Coordinate updates and creative content for campus signage to align with current promotions, events, and brand messaging across H-D Museum and MKE Experiences.
  • Compile reports on key department metrics (e.g., social media analytics, earned media) and use insights to guide future content creation.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Education Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related discipline preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Creativity and eye for aesthetics; ability to select engaging photos, write copy, and produce social media videos/reels as needed
  • Ability to plan and organize content calendars for consistent, timely production
  • Familiarity with content marketing principles, CMS, and email platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor) and social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Khoros, Meta Dashboard)
  • Experience with media monitoring and PR platforms (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack) to support media relations and reporting
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with media relations or influencer marketing is a plus
  • Knowledge of SEO, social media strategy, and digital content best practices

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range depending on location and experience. We offer an inclusive compensation package for all full-time salaried employees, including annual bonus programs, health insurance, a 401k program, onsite fitness centers and employee stores, employee discounts on products, and more. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
