What we need
The Manager Creative Services is a first-level manager that oversees the day-to-day activities of a Creative Services team. This role manages the daily operations of photography/videography studio projects, coordinates the requirements of various studios, and leads Design staff on creative briefs to ensure deadlines and brand standards are met.
What you’ll do
- Manage photography production planning of daily and high-priority projects, along with Project Coordinators and Studio Operations Lead.
- Delegate photography projects and production planning with Photography team.
- Collaborate with multiple departments regarding photography production services and requests, studio scanning operations, scheduling, and other various issues.
- Maintain a wide understanding of digital photography to stay current with industry trends, new software developments, lighting, and new techniques.
- Prepare proofs for approval and ensure tasks are executed with quality, creativity, and speed.
- Support goals and needs for various studio operations.
- Responsible for managing the in-house photo studio and Creative Services teams, including external consultants and consultants.
- Lead photo studio production plan and projects, providing guidance and direction to Photographers and Interior Designers (Creative Services Specialists).
- Organize and plan products to be photographed to include vignette set up along with needed accessories.
- Coordinate activities of product development and design to complete photography.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and final proof for digital marketing materials to include postproduction edits.
- Make decisions on behalf of the team within the parameters of the unit or sub-unit.
- Recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
- Provide direction to team according to established policies and management guidance.
- Oversee day-to-day work schedules and plans.
- Act as an advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved in resolving problems.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies.
- Review relevant factors to analyze situations and resolve issues.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you have
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 1-3 years of management experience.
- Advanced knowledge in color correction, image resolutions, advanced photography skills and current workflow procedures.
- Advanced knowledge with Digital Medium Format cameras, DSLRs, and studio lighting equipment.
- Skills in post-production editing.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Spark, Premiere.

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, Capture One, Lightroom, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Premiere, and various other photography software.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
What else?
- Travel approximately 20% for trade shows, customer visitation, etc.
- This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
