About Idaho Youth Ranch

Every child is born full of promise, and every child deserves a promising future. The Idaho Youth Ranch has been helping good kids on a dangerous path find promising futures for more than 60 years, with youth programs and services through the state. We offer emergency shelter, residential care, substance abuse treatment, job readiness training, alternative education, adoption services, family counseling, and more for at-risk kids and their struggling families. Our work is supported by generous donations and a statewide network of thrift stores.

When you donate, shop, or donate items, you become part of our promise to Idaho’s kids. Thanks to our donors and stores, we can help kids and families effectively and immediately even if they can’t afford the entire cost of care.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Visiting thrift stores to create fun and engaging content (Reels, posts, stories, etc.)
• Highlighting cool finds, sales, donation drives, and thrift flips
• Sharing the mission behind each purchase and how it funds youth programs across Idaho
• Submitting content and a media release to be shared on Idaho Youth Ranch platforms
• (Optional) Posting content on your personal social accounts and tagging Idaho Youth Ranch
• Collaborating with the Marketing Team on occasional campaigns or challenges
• Responding to comments, engaging with followers, and boosting awareness

Where You'll Be

Wherever inspiration strikes! You’ll visit Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store locations near you to gather content, and you can post or submit content from anywhere. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with our Marketing Team for collaboration, creative direction, and ideas.

• Someone creative and comfortable with social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook
• A confident content creator with an eye for trends, thrift, and storytelling
• Organized, reliable, and excited to represent Idaho Youth Ranch in a positive way
• Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to create engaging media
• Passionate about making a difference for youth in your community

Bonus if you already have a public social media presence or experience sharing content about fashion, DIY, or community causes!
