Overview

Youtube Video Editor role at Acquisition.com. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position.

Base pay range: $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on experience. Location: Las Vegas, NV (relocation after contract and successful performance).

Responsibilities

• Edit and deliver multiple high-quality long-form YouTube videos weekly, adapting to changing cadence.
• Contribute to pre-production outlines and packaging for YouTube edits to align with content creation phases.
• Conduct competitor analysis and trend research to stay ahead of industry standards.
• Report progress daily and maintain seamless workflows.
• Keep project files and assets organized and up-to-date.
• Share editing resources (e.g., motion graphics templates, intros) with the team.
• Identify potential challenges early and communicate solutions effectively.
• Contribute to producing video props and setting up scenes as requested.
• Provide feedback on raw footage to the pre-production and filming teams for improved outcomes.
• Collaborate with short-form editors to create engaging promo clips from long-form edits.
• Contribute to data collection, video retention graphs, and post-mortem reviews for continuous improvement.
• Offer constructive revision feedback to other editors.
• Monitor channel comments to remove spam.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of professional editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects; knowledge of Final Cut or Resolve is a plus.
• Solid foundation in motion graphics or willingness to learn on-brand graphics.
• Portfolio website showcasing your best work (required).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to balance speed and quality and align with brand standards and creative direction.
• Eagerness to experiment with new tools, workflows, and approaches.
• Strong alignment with Acquisition.com’s core values and team culture.

Results

• Deliver high-quality, long-form edits on time, driving retention and watch time metrics.
• Maintain a healthy backlog of ready-to-go content to support publishing cadence.
• Contribute to growing the channel’s reach, targeting 500K+ views per video and strong 30-day view velocity.
• Contribute to internal systems, workflows, and visual direction in alignment with the brand.

Location

• Ability to relocate to Las Vegas, NV after contract + positive performance.

Compensation

• $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Relocation Assistance

• $5,000–$7,000 in relocation support (capped at $7,000) plus 1 month of temporary housing.
