Overview

Multimedia Instructional Designer – Junior role at CACI International Inc. The position involves developing training content for Navy Aviation ratings as part of the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program. Responsibilities include creating Lesson Plans, Training Guides, assessment items, and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI). Applicants must reside in the Hampton Roads VA area and possess an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Review Government Furnished Information.
  • Support meetings with SMEs and Multimedia Instructional Designers.
  • Collaborate with SME to identify technical information from publications that supports learning objectives for content development.
  • Apply instructional design practices, adult learning theories, and performance improvement processes using the ADDIE model.
  • Create Lesson Plans and Training Guides.
  • Develop storyboards and courseware using Adobe Captivate.
  • Ensure 100% of individual work products comply with government style guides and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design and Technology, Education, or related Business/Military Systems field.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must possess an active secret security clearance.

Desired

  • Experience developing IMI learning solutions.
  • Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.
  • Experience working with media and designing screen layouts.

Pay and Benefits

The proposed salary range for this position is $48,300-$96,600. We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning opportunities, including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and paid time off. Details vary by location and role.
