As a Photographer Specialist, you'll provide creative photo work in support of business goals. You will be a member of a multidisciplinary creative studio team—including experts in video, photo, animation and illustration—collaborating with industry professionals to create high-impact marketing deliverables. We’re seeking a professional working photographer with a strong portfolio and skillset photographing people--candids, portraits, and lifestyle, with extra points for still-life and event experience. The candidate must possess organizational skills in preproduction planning, capturing media management, postproduction retouching, and final asset management. You’ll benefit from senior team members’ support and guidance along the way.In addition to a core industry skill set, you will work with designers and producers to help shape projeKnowledge, Abilities, Skills:experience photographing people, portraits, and candids. Adobe Creative Suite: Professional experience working in Photoshop, extra points for familiarity in other applications.Retouching experience is a mustExcellent time management and time budgeting skills, ability to be flexible/adaptable as work evolvesHigh level communication skills and transparency – ability to work fluidly with teams of various sizes and areas of expertise.Experience with relationship management, executives, VIPs – this position will require professional presence, ability to direct and manage people and their nuances at all levels.Ability to receive and activate critique, aligning with brand, industry and creative considerations.Experience or ability to work in project management software – checking in project work, communicating timely updates, and tracking timesheets.Experience managing media, setting up professional/shareable project files, seeking efficiency and repeatable processes. Ability to follow industry legal guidelines and licensing for ADA, Photo on-screen talent/stock, as well as developing efficiencies with AI/automation within legal and brand standard.* Specializes in a core creative subject area, from copywriting or design to photography, video production or motion graphics. Delivers best-in-class creative work that reflects a solid command of their field and accurately expresses the Nationwide brand.* Heavily involved in conceptual development and translating ideas into creative work, which includes print, digital, information design, social media, motion design, photography and video. Work is primarily external-facing sales collateral, campaigns, content development and advertising.* Works on the development and implementation of creative initiatives. Incorporates critical thinking, agile problem solving and idea generation. Advocates for a user-focused approach to the work. Interacts with business partners during creative proposal presentations.* Contributes to a creative culture where an open exchange of ideas is valued. Stays current on creative industry tools, technology, brand vision, creative approach and popular culture. Sees the big picture, explores possibilities and encourages new ideas.* Translates a foundational knowledge of a business unit's vision and strategic priorities into creative work that speaks to and connects with the target audience.* Understands thoroughly the creative processes and is responsible for executing work efficiently.
