CEO Bros – After Hours is looking for a skilled and creative Podcast Production Coordinator to manage the technical and creative aspects of our podcast production. This role starts part-time with potential to grow into a full-time position. The ideal candidate is passionate about podcasting, skilled in audio/video production, and comfortable balancing both the technical and creative sides of content creation.

Schedule & Pay

  • Part-time to start, with the potential to grow into full-time
  • Hourly pay: $18 – $21 (commensurate with experience)
  • Remote work with one required onsite evening (every 2 weeks)

Core Responsibilities

Onsite Production (every other week – one evening, ~4 hours, 6–10 pm)

  • Manage all aspects of onsite recording of episodes
  • Setup and takedown of equipment (cameras, stands, lights, cords, curtains, computers, mixers)
  • Ensure recording equipment and software are optimized for high-quality capture
  • Live mix video (using ATEM) and audio during recording, selecting camera angles to best reflect the conversation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time
  • Suggest improvements to set design and production quality
  • Save, catalog, and upload files to hard drives, shared drives, or YouTube
  • Assist with editing or provide guidance to editors

Equipment & Documentation

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all production equipment
  • Document processes and process changes

Editing (Remote)

  • Edit audio files into final MP3 format for upload to Libsyn
  • Remove background noise or distractions
  • Edit video files into final MP4 format for upload to YouTube
  • Sync audio and video
  • Add branded opening/closing segments with transitions
  • Insert media as directed by show notes
  • Provide creative input on edits and improvements

Marketing Production

  • Create clips, reels, and shorts from finished video files (minimum 7 per episode)
  • Generate engaging titles, tags, and thumbnails for short-form media
  • Post short-form content daily across social media platforms
  • Work with the team to brainstorm and execute creative marketing ideas

Qualifications & Experience

  • Familiarity with hardware and software used in video production, video editing, audio production, and audio editing
  • Strong working knowledge of editing software and audio/video best practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively
  • Creative eye for engaging video and social media content
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility to be onsite every other weeknight (Fontana, WI or Algonquin, IL)

Bonus Skills

  • Podcasting or broadcast production experience
  • Knowledge of live video mixing (ATEM experience strongly preferred)
  • Comfort participating off-camera as part of the show if needed
